NEW in Lyngby-Taarbæk?
Lyngby International Club is a young network of internationals who live and work in Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality. Our mission is to create a safe space where “old” and “new” internationals, as well as curious locals, can meet, exchange their experiences of living in Denmark, and learn something new.
Our story began in 2023, when Science City Lyngby launched a new program of activities in English and encouraged local internationals to create their own club. In spring 2024, we registered as a forening at FSLT.
Every other month, we arrange an informal gathering, potluck dinner, presentation, or a city walk. We have discussed housing in Denmark and Danish Education rules, explored the DTU campus, Sophienholm, Raadvad, and Nordhavn together, and celebrated Christmas with traditional dishes from our cultures.

It may be hard to start a new life and get new network in the new country, but we believe that getting involved in local events and exploring the new neighborhood can bring a lot of positive energy and even help one start feeling at home.
As professionals with international backgrounds, we are also happy to contribute to the local life and share our knowledge with others. Everyone is very welcome to reach out and join our events, and we are open for collaboration with other clubs and associations!
